I've got a VZ-24 barreled action and it is in nice shape except it has had the reciever ring scrubbed to remove the crest. I want to surface grind the action to make a nice sporter with a Walther barrel. Who can do this work and how much? Also would be interested in the barreling work and blueing. Thanks, Swede96.

I just sent mine off to Scott Green IdahoRifleman.com He charges $150 for a suface grind and $300 for a set of those very nice custom bases. I'm also getting it rust blued while it's there.

Hey Doug, Scott didn't do the bolt handle, A very nice girl named Charity Littelton (970-252-0702) did it. It's a 4 panel job with the bottom filled also. She charged me $150 for that and I'm more than pleased with it.
