I have an older High Standard Victor with a cracked frame. I know frames can be welded, but would like a recommendation on a good gunsmith to do this. Cost could be an issue also. If the cost was $500.00 or so I would have 2nd thoughts.

Where is it cracked? Cost won't be anywhere near that, and any certified TIG welder can do it.

It is broke just in front of the slide when the slide is locked back. After welding the slide rails would have to be machined to allow the slide to retract and it would probably have to be reblued.
