Would you guys care to give me any positive or negative feedback on the Tally light weight scope mounts that incorporate the rings and bases in one unit? See that they are low height only, will that clear a 35 or 40mm objective scope? Brownell's part number 874-000-037 (for a 98 Mauser)on page 343.

They are solid and light. I think there are better choices. I have mine holdin a 6x18 Leupold 40mm on a Remi 700 with plenty of room
