What replacement trigger would you experienced folk recommend for a .270 700ADL? Someone had worked on the trigger before I bought it; its bit too light for my tastes. I'd prefer one that I could put in myself if that's possible for a mechanically inclined person. However, I'm not a gunsmith nor do I pretend to be one.

Thanks.

If it is too light now, I would try adjusting it to a heavier pull myself first, unless you just want a different trigger. They are fully adjustable.

I prefer Shilen triggers for M700 hunting rifles. You will be able to do it yourself if you are handy to any degree.

I've installed both a "Rifle Basix", and a "Timney" on my Remingtons. I do not recommend the "Rifle Basix" and in fact have replaced it with another "Timney".

The trigger in a new SPS was terrible.. gritty.I installed a Timney and like it a lot. My 20 yr old BDL was adjusted at 3lb and works great.

Hope this helps.
