HI All. hope this finds you all well. I have a question about the winchester lever guns that cowboy shooters use. I see them shooting the guns and the actions are so smooth that the barrel never seems to move. What have they done to the action to get them to operate that smoothly? Thanks, John

They deburr and polish the parts and reduce all the spring tensions to the minimum needed for reliable functioning. There may be other tuning tricks that apply to particular models. The barrels don't move because they shoot low powered loads and there is very little recoil.

Thanks, I guess I will have to get an AGI dvd to show me what to cut and polish. Thanks, John
