my father-in-law is considering a CZ in .375H&H, he asked me if I knew of a gunsmith in our part of the country that worked on CZ's- polish the action, smooth it up, maybe add some recoil bolts to the stock if needed. any leads appreciated. thanks, -tincan

Where is he? There is no need to travel far for such easy work.

Good question.... I live in the NY Metro area, and I am looking for a good rifle-smith.

quote:he ain't gonna travel if he doesn't have to he's in NY metro area, the states I included in the subject are all nearby. my father-in-law goes high-line with his rifles, so he wants a high-line gunsmith, I'd reckon. he's buying the 375 for purposes other than hunting, wanted a Ruger, but I suggested a CZ as I think it's a better rifle at a somewhat lower price. hey, he's my father-in-law. as a son-in-law, it's my place to get the guy what he wants on the rare occassions he asks for something from me -tincan
