WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO REBARRELL BLR IN 300 WM TO 458 WM. THE PRESSURE FOR THE 458 IS LESS AND THE COL IS LESS ALSO. IS THIS POSSIBLE? ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

CARR4570, I don't think there would be a problem. The inner feed rails might have to be opened a hair due to the larger/lack of neck on the .458 but other than that it should be a pretty straightforward rebarreling. George

CARR, I've experienced the recoil of a heavily loaded 45-70 Marlin, 405gr bullet at 2000 fps. Not much fun(to me). From your handle I assume you are also familiar with heavy 45-70. The stock shape of the BLR mated with a .458 would fit my definition of self-abuse. Just my 2 cents.

Good luck, and tell us how it turns out if you go ahead with it!!
