I need to raise my head on a Remington 541s 22 with high scope mounts. Has anyone used one of these or have another idea? thanks, capt david "It's not how hard you hit 'em, it's where you hit 'em." You can "rig" a solution with moleskin and a slip-on cartridge holder to get a custom fit for that cheek weld. Beartooth also has comb-raising kits -- http://www.beartooth-products.com/shop/comb-raising-kits.html I got one for the same reason you mentioned, raising my head to scope height on a straight customized stock with no cheek piece at all (721 in 300 H&H.) Then found I needed to modify lots of other stocks to get proper fit, hence the moleskin-cartridge holder idea (moleskin from aisle next to Dr. Scholl's items and Bob Allen product from Academy, WalMart, etc.) BNagel _______________________ | |||
