I have send them an email telling them the problems I am having trying to install their three position safety in my Brno ZKK 602 and I haven't received any answer from them yet despite my email was send a couple of weeks ago. The email address I use was the one that appears on their web page, does anyone knows some other address where I can ask them for help ???
Thanks

If you bought it from Brownell's no need to call them and tell them of your problems; they already know! The Gentry stuff is junk and don't work. There has been numerous complaints about their stuff on here before. Personally, I sent two back. I should have learned after the first one. Brownell's shippe a whole bunch back to Gentry after finding out they had an index problem in the neighborhood of 180 deg.

Brownell's will send you back your money with no questions asked.

Hola Lorenzo,

The AHR people have their own safety I beleive??? I would give them a call.

Good luck on that thing. Gentrys have really shitty customer service, it's sad too Dave Gentry used to be one of the best gunsmiths in America.

Probably still would be if he gave a shit.

I have always received good service from the Gentry's, try calling (406) 388-GUNS see if that works. I am not sure how much they go online to even check email these days.

A friend droped off his match rifle last friday and Dennis called and left a message it was completed on Saturday, we were amazed at the service...

Thanks for the answers. I will try to call them and see what happends. My gunsmith is puzzled about the instalation of this safety, he says he must do a "bushing" or something similar (no idea what is this, or if it is correctly written as he is not very good in english and he told it to me by phone Roll Eyes)
But he says that the safety is incomplete and that he must do that to avoid some trigger movement ???? bewildered

I will try to call these people tomorrow..any idea of where they are to see the hour difference between my country and their State ??

Thanks
L

They are in Belgrade Montana. I talked to Dennis Gentry this evening concerning other projects in the works and I mentioned your dilemma, he is expecting your call so ask for him.

Dennis and David Gentry have build some fantastic rifle projects for me that I have been nothing but satisfied with in the area of the finish but especially in the performance! I have recieved great service and care in my satisfaction with my custom rifles that I abuse in the match formats in which I compete. After the 2003 ITRC match they inspected, adjusted and even cleaned the rifle for me at no charge...

BTW, one of the guys bitching here failed to mention that the safety he was complaining about on forum turned out to be manufacturer by someone other than the Gentry's but failed to report this minor detail...

And how the hell was I supposed to know that. It had the Gentry labe on the package and it should have not gotten out of quality control. Me and about fifteen other guys have had the same problems. What about the lot he sent to Brownell's?"

I have phone them, Dennis wasn't there but I talked to a very nice lady called Beverly (I think that was her name) and she told me they have had some problems with the emails. She asked me to send her a new email with my questions and she will give it to Dennis so he can explain me how to instal the safety. I really like the safety so I only hope they can help me to make it work in (or on ?) my rifle. thumb

Are you saying you NEVER called them to extend them professional courtesy OR the opportunity to offer you their advice with your difficulties or still yet to afford them to make a potential packaging/labeling mix-up right with you????

If you had I suspect you might know this already and might have saved yourself A Lot of frustration ;o) LOL!!! Ohhhh, Bad on you...

Here is another tid bit of Intel for you Jim, To be honest I am not even sure they put their products in labeled packages, I have been in and out of their shop frequently for the past 6 years now and I have NEVER seen a packaged/labeled Gentry safety once, only product bulk containers... Interesting indeed????

This is one heck of a deal IMHO...

So where in the hell is their quality control check system. Someone should have been responsible for checking that stuff out before it left the manufacurer.

I did call after the first one; they said to send it in and they would fix it. I did not. It seems to me that others on this board have heard the same from them. The second time it happened, I just sent it back to Brownell's and did not want to bother with them. The second time I tried to use one was my fault. I should have learned after the first one.
