Was at local shop yesterday. Found a Win 670 that was in an appealing caliber. Have a stock stashed here for a 70 and was wondering if it is any harder to put bottom metal on the 670 than a Rem ADL. Society of Intolerant Old Men. Rifle Slut Division.

It's the same as a M70. | |||

Two versions of the Win 670. The first two years of production had a sliding safety on the RH side of the receiver tang. Those will have extra inletting required for that sliding safety Then they dropped that and just used the M70 three postion safety. Like the Rem ADL the magazine box will be deferrent due to the stock depth, BUT years ago we converted LOTS of 670's into M70's by reinleting the stock to accept the M70 front hinge plate and magazine cover, and swaping the magazine box out, and putting the M70 bow and magazine cover on. Appreciate it guys. I would have never thought the 670 would come in 264WM. Kind of blew me away. Has the 3 position safety. Society of Intolerant Old Men. Rifle Slut Division.
