Have this project all done except for one part. When it came back from the blueing, it didn't have the "dogbone" with it, the part that holds the block pins in. Anyone know where I can get one?

Try Dave Higginbotham

Dave is the guru for rolling blocks, and is manufacturing rifles, actions, and parts that are supposed to interchange with original Remington actions.

If all else fails, go to http://www.24hourcampfire.com head for the BPCR forum and look up Crossfireoops. If anyone knows he will. Another possibility is a fella named G. Pennell, might find him here in the Single Shot Forum.

Another vote for Dave Higginbotham. His rollers are duplicates of the originals.

The Pedersoli rolling blocks are 10% over sized.

I just saw a whole bunch of rolloing block parts on Ebay. It appears someone is parting one out. Do a search for "rolling block".

Hey Jim,

That part is actually called a "button"...don't ask, I don't know why, either Confused. I don't have a spare, but I might know a guy that does. Let me make an email or two.

Greg

Update: No Joy on the button search...might have to get one from Lone Star after all.
