I was going to ask you guys for some advice on how to replace a rear sight blade on a New Model Blackhawk; have a new narrower notch (.095") blade to replace the old beat up one. I didn't really find any online instructions except a MidwayUSA video on replacing the rear sight blade on an S&W Mod 15 which looked intimidating with a bunch of little parts to lose. So before I posted the question here I thought I'd look at the sight one more time, decided to unscrew the deflection screw, one thing led to another and now the new blade is in place. Hard to believe that part of the Ruger sight is just a screw, a blade, and a spring. Guess I'll have a better question next time. sputster | ||
