I have a Winchester 25WSSM, and since I am disabled I cannot get my head close enough to the scope for even a 50% reduced sight picture let alone a full one. I was wondering if anyone would have any idea on where I can find one? I have looked over the Internet and all I can find are extensions and side mounts for AR-15's. Since it looks like the tapped holes are pretty standard would any of these mounts work?

Warne makes extension bases that bring a scope 1" farther back. They ofer them in both their Maxima and Premier line.

FlyingAce,

Another option that would not require extended mounts is to get a scope intended for a shotgun or mounting on the barrel as in the guide gun concept. These scopes have extended eye relief and may have enough for you to get a full sight picture. Also, you can buy scope base stock from Brownells and have a gunsmith fabricate you a scope base to place the scope where you need it.
