I've got a full size in 45 ACP, no jamming problems but you sure want to get the trigger worked on. Also get the feed ramp cleaned up, I did have trouble with McCormick eight round mags prior to that(no problems at all with the factory mags). Mines reasonably accurate, no problems yet but I only have probably 800 or so rounds through it. As cheap as they are, even if you spend $150 on an action job you're ok pricewise.

I've handled three, I think, in my life. They've all felt like junk. Not a very large database, but if I "needed" a pistol, I'd want something I knew would be there for me. I have about 2500 rounds thru my 1911, and I have confidence. If you can do that with less money out of pocket, more power to you. Now, If I just wanted a .45 to play around with and make noise, why the hell not?

Squirrel Skinner, I have one and like it very much. After my gunsmith fitted an oversized Clark barrel bushing it shoots thumbnail size groups at 21'. I paid $270.00 for mine plus $40.00 for the bushing and labor. An excellent value in my opinion. One other thing to keep in mind is that a lot of 1911 parts wont fit a Llama due to minor dimentional differences. Stepchild

I owned one briefly. It was junk. As previously stated most aftermarket parts will not fit.

Here's the list of standard 1911 parts that will fit: Barrel bushing Guide rod assembly Springs (Hammer, Recoil and Sear) trigger Hammer Main Spring Housing Barrel link and pin Bushing type compensators Hammer strut Sear and sear disconnect Most rear sights Most magazines (although see my previous note on 8 rounders) The worst item that won't ift (to me at least) is grips. Where did they come up with that screwy screw pattern?
