buddy has a fairly new one, bought a box of Bear Bullets with it. was scared to shoot it so had his son shoot 15 of em. he decided it looked better in the box than in his hand. his dad was just beginning to get into reloading when he passed away and he remembered he had some reloading gear. lee press, rcbs primer etc. he found out i reload and brought me 15 cases and some primers and etc. he has a box of bullets, not loaded ammo, 325 gr red plastic tip hornadys. we went thru the basics, he loaded 15 rds under my eye. reduced load of 19.5 unique according to whatever loading manual i pulled off the shelf. everything shoots fine, he loves it. he loaded the next batch hisself. he shot em and no problems except shooting SA at one point the cylinder won't rotate. he said it did it the last time he shot it too. i took the rds out one at a time to eliminate that variable. still refuses to budge at same chamber on cylinder. i marked cylinder with sharpie to make sure. DA it functions fine. using a light i can see same space between bbl and cylinder face every rotation. and non rotation. not hanging up/rubbing. no marks on cyl face. help!

My buddy sent his back to S&W when it was doing the same thing. Never found out how they fixed it but they did.

"took rounds out one at a time to eliminate that variable", does that mean it still has a round in the same chamber when the cylinder refuses to budge or does it jam when all chambers are empty?

Send it back to the factory
with advance notice asking for
instructions how to get it there.
