When grinding these pads I seem to get small scuff marks normally in the heel and toe areas. Is there a secret to removing (smoothing) these areas where the rubber has been slightly pulled during grinding?
Thanks for any advice

Freeze the pad before you grind and use a fine grit sandpaper.

Come back after your initial grind with the lightests touch and remove the pull. Same issue exists on the XLT mag, but what I said seems to work great for me. I'm using a high rpm Rockwell 12" disc.
