SnellstromI'm glad I got mine when they were cheaper.
Despite some of the complaints mine is very nice.

jeffeossoi've had several, empire rifles started with building these -- and i've actually talked with Stephan --- well, i'm pretty assured these aren't made in china (wow, that's a long logistics issue there)
for the price, if they kept the receiver and sent you everything else, you are miles ahead.. straddle floorplate, 3 position safety, speed lock bolt, decent trigger for $350 bucks? and all of it could moved over to another project

hogfarmerBought a couple when they were less than $300 apiece. I guess I got lucky, both were good actions. As stated above, the straddle floorplate and three position safety would have cost more than the actions. The only thing that detracts on mine are the ugly as sin bolt handles.
I've followed the various discussions on the web as to whether or not they are Chinese or European . Proponents of both sides are equally adamant that their theory is the correct one. I haven't seen any definitive proof of either theory.

ColoradoMattFor $350, if the actions are of good quality, I woudn’t give two poops where they are made!

MileHighShooterVery tempting. If I hadn't picked up a Husky 640 recently, I'd probably snag one of these.
