pics of stocks
Gents:

would some of you kindly upload a few pics of stocks you have had built for M70s? I am looking for some visual cues. Specific areas of interest include the pistol grip area and the forestock.

Thanks.

you might also consider purchasing a set of plans of the Jerry Fisher design.

nice idea. problem for me is that is roughly the same stock used on the factory guns, right? if so, when I shoulder the weapon in a natural, comfortable position for me I am high and to the right of the the sights/scope.

Thinking this means I need a thinner cheekpiece/cast on/lower comb?

Just don't know.

Thanks,

Jeff

You need to have some cast built into your stock.

That's what I thought, Jim. Can't bend a rifle stock, though, like a shotgun stock as I understand it.

Don't some of the Mickeys come with cast in the stocks?
