I have this rifle and was wondering who actualy made it. Its marked H.V.A. Sweden, on the reciever. Its a 30-06, very slim bbl. I'll be very grateful for any information.

Your rifle was made by High Standard using the Husqvarna action (1640 type). High Standard put on their own barrel and stock.

The Husqvarna model 5000 uses the same action, as does the 3000, 3100, 4000, 4100, 6000, 7000, and the early S&W models A,B, C, D, E.
