Anyone removed the side plates of a Blaser R93 action? Are they glued?

Here are a pair of replacement side plates.

They're glued all right.

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.

Dear Mr Jacobsen,

Thank you for your email.
The sideplates are glued and will need to be destroyed to be removed.
You will need to penetrate through the sideplate with eg. An old screwdriver, to get
underneath the sideplate and prise it out. Clean up the surface and glue on your
side plate. We use a Loctite glue 3298 with an Activator.

Should you have any further questions, please let me know.

Best regards
