I received a Squibman rifle from a friend in Australia a few years back.

It is a .22LR, bolt action. It almost looks like an imitation Weatherby, with a small Monte Carlo stock and a sloping forend.

It is made in the Phillipines, and is a Model 11. Anybody know anything about this gun? I'm guessing it was a bargain brand .22 that was made in the '70's, but it shows decent accuracy. Not really a fine finished peice of walnut, though!

Pretty sure Squibmans became Stirling's......just another cheap 22lr.

Yep they shoot quite okay although build quality wasn't always up there. I think they were 60's era actually.
Made in the Phillipines for an Australian importer. Value ....hmm how much will you pay me to take it off you!!

Yeah, Ozhunter, pretty much as I thought. 60's vintage, eh?

I think it DOES as an adjustable trigger, though. Although the trigger is REALLY rough!
