Anyone know what the size of the floor plate pin on a 1909 Argentine is?

Is the only thing missing from my action and the closest thing I have to a set of known diameter pins is a set of number drills.

Thanks!

I dont know what size it was designed with but find a pin you have that matches a drill you have and fix it. No need to waste time trying to match the hole you already have; make a new one.

It is common to enlarge the hole to take a 1/8" pin.

Drill it out to 1/8" then put in a dowell pin; it woon't come out once it is in the stock.

I drill them out with a #31 and then ream with a 1/8" chucking reamer. If you need to you can stake the hole using a pin punch and a steel bb. I do this both for the latch and plate. but if you want an original pin let me know I was going to mail your follower today, I can put one in the package.

If you don't want to drill it out, I have some 3 mm drill rod. PM me with your address and I will mail you a piece.
