Hello all, I talked about this a year or so ago. But, like everything else it got put on the back burner(kids,work,life in general). Heres the deal, I have a 7mmRM. But also have a new unfired Sendero 7mm Barrel. I would like to utilize it. So what are my options with this barrel? I have thought about getting a 7STW project started. Would that be to close to a 300WM, which I already have? I would be using this gun for long range paper punching if I get this build going. And possible some hunting. However, I am not real keen on lugging around a Sendero on an all day walk.

Do I have any other options other than the STW. I mean something that is easier on the shoulder or even bigger and badder? I have been reloading for several(7) years. So ammo willmost likely not be a great concern.

Also, when i get the project started. Is it possible to get the letters to line up like a factory Sendero does?

Does anyone know of a highly recommended smith?
