| I'm going to make an assumption(bad thing to do), that they are just unplated wood screws. Brownell's sell these in two different sizes. I have a bunch in my machine screw drawer. |

| ron v. - the one I just installed is not a common screw at all. The head had parallel sides, flat under the head and the thread is not a common wood screw thread at all. Ideally it needs to be drilled and tapped in the wood as for a bolt thread in metal. The head also stood proud of the cap to allow adjustment for north/south slot line and then the head is reduced to the top line of the grip cap.
