When a topic comes up and turns into a heated debate and then degenerates into a fight about personalities I wonder what the real reason is that the combatants are here in the first place?
The MRC/Walex debate has turned into such a mess and it's obvious to me that "The Lady Doth Protest Too Much" The late author Eric Bern wrote about "The Games People Play" and it's so appropiate.
So, there's a whole bunch of MRC's out there and it seems to me there's a lot of happy campers and a least one who 'aint so happy. BFD, it's to be expected. Near as I can tell, MRC has bent over backwards to satisfy the disgruntled fellow. What more can they do? I've been enjoying the thread, very informative, and, extremely entertaining.

There was a thread about gun control and how best to conduct ourselves. The primary participants were some gunsmith, Mike 375 and Alex as I recall.
Some points were made and I wanted to get Mikes point in particular but the thread degenerated so fast that it was not worth trying to salvage civil debate. That is my point.
"So, there's a whole bunch of MRC's out there and it seems to me there's a lot of happy campers and a least one who 'aint so happy. BFD, it's to be expected"
Exactly. To quote Will Rogers "Everything is funny as long as it isn't happening to you."

You forgot to add, "a bunch of us with actions on order, and to me at least, it is a BFD".
I'm happy with the course of action Dan and MRC are taking. If walex has found a problem, it can be corrected befor the action goes into production. We Win. If its sour grapes, the engineering will be re-examined, and the quality will be confirmed, or possibly improved. We win.
I'm eager to see what the three wise men have got to say.
