I am in Gainesville, FL. Can any of you folks recommend a skillful gunsmith to lengthen shotgun chambers on 2 BBFs (O/U combinations)??
Thanks.

Mike Orlen has opened chokes and chambers for me. His prices are quite reasonable and his turn time is fast, usually less than two weeks.

This id sn EASY do it yourself job.

Just buy a long forcing conr reamer and a depth gauge from Brownell's. I have done several of these myself.

Yes...easy, just make sure there's sufficient wall thickness to do so...Lots of times, there's not!

Lot easier to buy 2-1/2" shells... you'd be removing metal where it's most needed.
