300 H&H to 333 Flanged?

Hi all,

Would any knowledgeable persons out there be able to tell me if its possible to rechamber a Ruger No1 300H&H to .333 Flanged Nitro Express?

The Ruger could be rebarreled easily enough.

Yes I think thats what I'm going to have to do. Some reading around has shown the 300H&H is just a bit too long for a straight rechamber and rebore to .333 Flanged. Was hoping to keep costs down by using the existing barrel.

Based on other forums he had planned on a rebore as well.

Yep forgot to mention that in the initial posting, a rechamber without the rebore would bring a new meaning to single shot rifle Wink
