Will a G&H sidemount for a Rem 721, also fit a 700 action??

Please advise....I bought this sidemount for a 700, but box says "721". Is the left-side contour of the action adequately similar (721 - 700), such that I may install the mount on a 700 action???

Almost certainly yes. But why not go to a gun store and check it against a 700?
