I have a Ruger M77VT (the target model) in .223. I don’t like the two-stage trigger and would like to replace it with a single stage trigger.

Can these triggers be replaced with an aftermarket trigger? Any suggestions as to which trigger works well?

I know that the normal M77II will not fit. Midway list a "Jard" trigger for both the M77II and M77VT. Timney doesn't list one for the VT. I can't say about the other Manu.
