i have a rem 700 300 win. mag.im thinking of rebarreling to 300 ultra. i know i need a new mag. box ,but im wondering how much trouble opening up the rails and getting it to feed properly. who would you recommend. thanks | ||

Why would the bolt head have to be opened up? The Ultra has the same rim diameter as the 300 win. Just curious | |||

The ultra is a heavily modified 404. Has a micro rebated RIM that measures .532 same as all the regular magnums. | |||
