Im still looking forward to one.Would like to know how progress is going if you dont mind sharing some update info.
I dont want all the bells and whistles:
just something with,
-Clean machining
- Bolt handle does not fall off
-No cast parts
-S-Steel option
-A proper 375hh length version.
- The option of an undrilled receiver top.
-Better shroud gas shield
-Your bow release Bottom metal
-Organise that McMillan will do an Inlet for them.

......and oh Yeh, hopefully all that metal for under $1000 bucks Big Grin...but still happy to pay a little more.
and I dont care if its made in Taiwan or Japan, just do the bare minmum that allows you to stamp " made in USA" on it. If its quality and the price is right they buy it anyway. Chances are Winchesters were made on a Jap CNC anyway.I dont care which country the machines power supply is plugged into. I think its more important to plug the market gap.
I dont care if it says "Nike" on the side,I can grind that off, I just want someone to "Just Do IT!" banana

Now Im going to plant some potatoes diggin and see what comes up first.

Please be curtious enough to reveal your name, date of order, or order number before asking me a question that no person on god's green earth could reply to.

My name, web address, and phone number are available to everyone here to see. If you feel that I've wronged you on an order in some way, please feel free to provide the same.

I don't ignore emails or phone calls. All phone calls are directed to my office manager, who returns all calls that are left with messages.
Customers place ordrers online with us daily and we ship their parts as quickly as we can, while doing our best to provide them with the most up-to-date info that we have regarding their order.

Recently and in the past as well, we have customers who supply us with email addresses that block our address and label us spam. That isn't something I'm in control of if AOL, Earthlink, or NetZero think that a firearm belongs in the same class as porn.

This may not be the situation in your case, since I have no idea who you are, but if you were using anyone of those providers, it could explain it perhaps.

As far as the action is concerned, we have made a lot of progress on it, but I'm not going to be releasing any date of completions or pictures at this time.

When it is ready, which will be after I've thoroughly tested it, you'll have no trouble searching for information regarding it.

Sorry, I'm being a little closed-lipped about it, but I'd rather answer 99% of the questions at once, rather than several times a day.

Matt: I sent two messages to your office several months ago enquiring if you can ship a trigger guard to me in Canada. Neither was replied to. This was several months ago. Perhaps there was a glitch in the system. Think I also enquired directly to you on 24hcf but never got a response. Still don't have an answer and am uncertain if you are stuck for shipping due to export regs or not. Maybe you can tell me this time.
Thanks

Yes, we can ship to Canada, but we've limited it to just Canada and the United States.

On 24hour was it a PM or on a thread?

I spend normally the first 2-3 hours a day answering emails, thread responses and PM on this forum and 24hour....I apologize if I missed ya the first time around.

Matt: It was on a thread if I recall correctly and I just assumed you never revisited it and so sent the e-mails to your office. It's not a problem in any event and not a big purchase but I will place an order soon now that I know you can send it. Many thanks.

PM sent. I apologise for the rant (which was a first for me and which I have removed) but as you can imagine such an experience has been exceedingly frustrating.

I have several of Mr. Williams' products on various M70s I own. I am very pleased and am appreciative of his work and service. I think gun nuts as myself would be worse off if his products went away. I'd survive, but I'd not be happy.

I hope his business continues to be successful and continues to grow, and I hope he can continue to offer such fine products at such a good price. If at some point he's able to bring a new M70 Type to the market w/ this same value, I'd buy one.
