I hear a hacksaw and a pocket knife do a good job. Big Grin

However, for piece of mind and appearance sake, a hacksaw to remove it and somewhere between 40.00 and 75.00 for a good machine finish.

It's too bad that someone vandalized your gun before you bought it. The necessary corrective surgery will leave the barrel forever abbreviated, but that and the very nominal cost of the surgery are small prices to pay to rid yourself of that malignant appendage.

It shouldn,t take a good gunsmith any time at all to cut that off your barrel, and recrown it!! The going rates are from $35-$95 depending in your geographical area. van
