I have a 243 and a 30-06 Pre64, both have the small flip up rear sights. The 243 is Pops, bought new in 1962.

I've seen both sights on P64 rifles. Which rifles have which rear sights

Both of your rifles are CORRECT IF FWT, A Lyman ladder type type 0n Std wt.dovetailed in the barrel lug.
