First of all, I know that these have been discontinued, but may have a line on a pair. I would like to mount a set on my Model 70 Classic and set an FX II 6X36 in them. Is my bolt handle going to clear the ocular bell in those rings? Thanks guys.

I have a simmilar set up (2-7x32 VXII in low DDs) and the problem may not be the ocular but the objective. I had to go to extended front rings, because I did not want to use the extended bases and it is CLOSE to the front mount. For what it is worth the ocular clears the bolt by about .25 inches.

If you try to put 2.5-8x36 leupold in DDsuperlows the tube(130mm) runs a little short, cause rings are 131-2mm?apart(m70La). but a person can machine chamfers in the rings to make it fit lengthwise. However the objective will hit the base when sat that low.
But with your 6x36 longer tube, it fit no problem, clear bolt no problem, and clear #2 barrel reinforce by about .75mm, thats enough.
Typically leupold bases are 5.55mm high,
superlowDD (1") are 1.27mm from base to inside curve of ring.= 6.82mm

Some DD Superlow snaps I meant to show you earlier.
Although not m70LA, still gives you a rough idea.
