I have a Model 700 BDL that I bought back a couple years (2006 Model I believe)ago. I was wondering if someone would know the "rate of twist" it's a 24" barrel. I was trying to find a pet load using Barnes 53 grain TSX and they recommend a faster twist than twelve for that bullet. Might explain why I can't get better 3/4"-1" groups @ 100 yards. Thanks Steve www.skymountainoutfitters.com

Almost every factory 22-250 is 1-14 twist Custom rifles are another story The reason Barnes recommends a faster twist rate is due to the bullets length. Being solid copper it's longer www.KLStottlemyer.com Deport the Homeless and Give the Illegals citizenship. AT LEAST THE ILLEGALS WILL WORK

It's pretty easy to measue it yourself using a tight fitting patch on a cleaning rod. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA!
