Magnafluxing a bolt
Does anyone know where I could get a bolt magnafluxed or otherwise non-destructively tested? I would be more comfortable with someone familiar with gun parts as opposed to just trying to find someone in the phone book.

Check your yellow pages and you should be able to find a company that does testing with various methods.
Most commonly problems would exist ,with a used gun , at the base of the locking lugs.I don't think you really need a gun person to do it as a bolt is fairly simple.

viperidaeYup, any auto machine / crankshaft shop. Just stay with it while they do it so no custody issues. The shops I have talked to about it have thought it was really cool.
