The front sight on the CZ Safari Mag rifle isn't integral is it? I was thinking it's soldered, glued or otherwise attached to the barrel as a separate piece.
So the stock front sight can "simply" be removed and a NECG barrel band and Masterpiece front sight could be put on.

This question probably sounds weird but, can the CZ Safari Mag safety be converted or replaced with a Mauser Flag type?
It would be an open sight rifle only.

Ed Lapour in Washington maks a M70 type safety for the CZ. I've never seen or heard of a Mauser type safety for it. It's been a while since I've looked at a CZ ft sight, but if I recall they are screwed and glued on.

I am not aware of a flag over safety for a CZ but have seen many convereted wit the model 70 type side safety which makes a useful conversion.

As for the foresight not sure about the present 550 but the 602 foresights were integral and comprised a foresight ramp on a barrel band that was sleeved onto the end of the barrel and soldered in place, to remove the unit required heating of the entire end of the barrel and the unit slid off. I can't say if the 550 version is the same but I would guess it is
