Hi all, I need an ejector/ extractor for an AYA 20 ga double shotgun, Matador II, right hand side. Or does anyone know of one from another gun that could be modified to work?
TIA
e-mail Glenn at idahobronco@aol.com

The one that I have has had the ejector plate break off of the leg. I drilled and put a piano wire pin in then brazed it together last year, but it broke again this year. I let it cool slowly.
any thoughts?

I think you better try to figure out why it's breaking at the same time you get it replaced/repaired. Any chance you have a firing pin that is sticking or failing to rebound?

The fired cases have normal looking primers so I'm assumeing the fireing pins are okay.
I contacted Anglo American, they also import and work on AYA's. The had an extractor blank($50) that was supposed to fit, but when it got here the upper leg, that keeps it from rotating, was positioned too high to fit. I may end up cutting it off and soldering back on.

What you have to check for is to see if the extractor is dragging (snagging in some cases) on the firing pin nose when you open and close the gun. If not you have a different problem.

Love your C-Red lube by the way, will probably never try another type.
