Just received the above from our friend, dpcd. Would someone be willing to receive a few pics to post?

It began life as a 270 and now has a No 3 Douglas barrel finished at 24".
Factory laminated stock slimmed down by dpcd.
Trigger, safety, and action gone over as well.
Buttstock drilled to get some weight out of it.
Planning on a Leupold VX II 1-4x20 I have someplace.

Dpcd says about 8lbs 2 oz as it sits. Balance slightly to the nose and a new Decelerator on it. Plus he lapped the factory rings so it should make a nice foul weather gun.

Should be really nice.

Me daughter and I spent the last couple days following the hounds after bear.

In the rain, swamps, mud and thick brush with her LH MKII SS 06.

A very good rifle for the job the water, mud and new scratches had no effect on it.

No bear yet going out tomorrow again.
