Bought a 9,3 X 62 from a forum member and the action is as grabby as I have ever experienced. It is quite an effort to open and close the bolt quickly without holding it "just so." What can I do at home to smooth this up? I'm thinking that working the action a couple of hundred times with JB bore paste or Flitz or some such product might help. But where do I apply the stuff? Thanks for any guidance. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

Let me suggest you use some Dykem (available at Brownell's and other places). Start with the lugs and coat, allow to dry then work the bolt several times. You will see where the rub marks are. Clean and coat likely rub spots individually and figure out the binding points for polishing. Trying to polish the entire bolt down at once is not a good idea, you are likely to create some tolerance problems. Work judiciously and test after each session. Jim
