I'd like to fit a Winnie featherweight stock from McMillan to my Kimber model 89 BGR classic with featherweight barrel. Does anyone know if this can be done without ruining the stock? The action area is solid, right? My only other option is an MPI!!?? Thanks, Don

McMillan would be the best people to ask if this is doable. As for the MPI stocks I have used three of them, they are not macjine inletted like the McMillan but finish up alright once all the bedding and aligning are done up, they are light and solid but as I said they require more work to finish, I quite like their classic style etocks with the open pistol grip design. bigbull
