Just checked, the magazine spring in my Mark 5 LT (6-lug bolt) .280 Remington, is nearly identical to a 98 Mauser spring. The Mauser spring should work with a minimun of fitting - assuming the .308 spring is not significantly shorter. Also, this is Labor Day (National Holiday) in the U.S., so no one will be at work at Weatherby. S40 Youth and vitality are wasted on the young. | |||
