Has anyone had the dubious experience of working on one of these? I got this one in the shop that needed the trigger reassembled that the owner took apart. The unit is a pain to put back together, this one had the trigger broken in half at the trigger spring post. You need three hands and a strong vocabulary when reinstalling. I did find there are no parts readily available and apparently Colt does not accept them for repair had to Tig the trigger back together. Apparently a 700 trigger can be modified to replace it but the owner did not want to spend $200 + to get it changed. Never rode a bull, but have shot some. I know there was a trigger recall on them at one point. You may be able to contact Melvin Forbes and get some insight. I know they are not his original trigger version, but I seem to recall him being helpful to others before.
