Went up to visit my friends at Luxus when I drove up to Xavier to visit my daughter and watch her play a soccer game and look what followed me home!! Going to use a Mauser with all of the bells and whistles eg Blackburn bottom metal etc. Chuck Grace will build it just can’t decide on to go with a 257 Roberts Imp or a 30-06! Tough choice here!

It is beautiful and will come alive when turned---have several of these types of blanks that I have gotten from Clay and Adam over the years. Most of them never even made it to the website as when these types come along there is usually a list of people that get them before they are listed.

One of those is being turned right now and will be at the ACGG Show in January at Chuck Graces table.

The above blank will be at the ACGG Show in 2011 at Chuck Graces table. Not enough time for this year lol..

That's a smoooookin blank! Chucks a great guy. I've known him for about 7 years. I see him every year at the guild show. He's a really great gun builder.

Ask him about slimming down the mag box down. He does that on alot of Mausers and the slimmer profle is really nice.

SWD--Funny you should mention that---he does that with all of mine!! The little Mexican Mauser Mannlicher on his table last year was mine.

It"s a small world. That slim profile sure adds an elegant sleekness to his rifles. He's taught me alot about stock making and custom rifle building. He bugs me every year to get my guild projects done, but time is never on my side. Be sure and post some pics when Chuck is done with that beauty,{or some in progress pics} I have no doubt about the whole gun being spectacular!
Good luck with your project, but as you already know Chuck is a sure thing!
