I know they are impossible to find. Question for the experts will a 7.62 extractor work on a 223? Or maybe the other way around.

I'm quite certain you could fit one from a .223 to the 7.62

hi paul, good to see your up and about again. as john said you should be able to go small to big. I opened up a 223 to 6.8 a while ago. the biggest factor for me was that little voice in my head saying "you cant get another one if you screw this up".

You can make a .223 fit a 7.62, and if you can find an old Sako one, those will work too.
