Got a 30-06 that on the Husqvarna action. It could realy use a new trigger. Will a Timney for a 98 Mauser work ?

It should, although mine required a gunsmith to make the Timney function correctly. Congratulations on your Higgins 51L. They are true sleepers: a great action, a good barrel, light weight, a usable stock, and usually a bargain price.

I think you want the one thats made for the Mark X action when you use it on a FN commercial action.

Yes, a Timney trigger will work in these fine, usually if you have a deluxe trigger will have to adjust the safety bar. I have two of these rifles that were bought in the Early 1960,s when a local western auto store went out of business. These are the FN Commerical actions, and well made. Bought the rifles for $54.50 each. van
