A while back, I believe you mentioned the name of a gunsmith that was good at fixing feeding problems -- something like he could make a rifle feed beer cans or dead cats. I have a MRC short mag that requires some fine-tuning with respect to feeding and ejection, and need someone to do it right the first time. Thanks, S40

I have had many of my feeding problems fixed by Dennis Oleson in Plains,Montana.

Dennis did the feeding work on the 404 jeffery I'm building. I have never been to his place of business so I do not know what kind of operation he has, but he seems to be as busy as anybody in the business, but seems to be able to get his work out pretty quick.

he could make a rifle feed beer cans or dead cats Ray was referring to Dennis Olson of Plains, Montana when he made that statement. His reputation for making rifles feed totally reliable is legend. In fact, one of Ray's rifles was at Dennis shop the last time I was there. Dennis does strive to get out the work as soon as possible. He is generally known for three things: 1. He does exactly what you ask him to do as long as it is safe. 2. He almost always finishes the work when he says it will be done. 3. The final costs are what he said they would be. His shop is not large by a lot of standards, but it has everything he needs to do quality work, which he does from all I have ever seen over many years. Besides all this he is a world class person of the highest character.
