Ruger M77 barrel UPDATE
Any one know where I might find a barrel for a Ruger M77 30-06. I have a rifle here that the guy left a cartridge in the chamber all summer and it has caused the chamber to rust past being able to clean up. He does not have a lot of money so I thought perhaps a good takeoff barrel might be the best bet.
forgot to add its a tang safety model

Does not want to fix it so what is a model 77 tang safety action worth in good condition?

Set it back one thread; but the stock won't match them. That big famous auction house usually has some; I do not have a 30-06 Ruger at the moment. I might have a 270....

Set back is on the table only as a last resort.

I have a lightweight 270 Win I'll be taking off a tang safety 77 if you want it.
