Can't say for sure cause I've never used them before. They were a staple of the high-end British gun trade so I suppose they work fine. A friend built a Rigby facsimile and they work fine on his rifle.

You can order the twin screw sling studs from Brownell's or Dakota. Or you can make them from old Mauser or Springfield bases like the one on the right gun in the picture.

I am used to the Uncle Mikes QD sling swivels. What are some other designs and brands? Is there a better design or brand that I am missing out on? I like the fact that they are on when they are on and are relitivity fast to remove.

The reason I'm looking for something else is to "class up" some custom rifles.
