Just a bit high I think. I would think the rifle was very early 1900s maybe 1890s. Would need to see if there is a 4 digit code on the underrib, and check proof codes on barrel flats. | |||

Jeff: I would be very careful in dealing with Thad Scott, as the one experience that I had with them was definately a bummer. The gun was represented as in excellent condition, but upon arrival was badly off face, and the finish was very worn. I have noticed that they use dark photos that tend to hide problems. Dave | |||
